Sounds a bit weird to me...

Well, it's an accomplishment to have known so many languages.

I think it's amazing at the languages Tolkien invented. I even know people from MEC who can speak one or two.

Tolkien himself never completed them well enough for anyone to speak them. And he didn't like the idea of them being spoken in real life.

Because it would be scary to hear someone speak in an invented language. He had to find words for everything and REMEMBER them.

Actually, most of his languages are based on real languages. Khuzdul is almost identical with Icelandic language.

Quenya is actually mostly completed, enough to the point that people can realistically converse in it. Sindarin is closely behind, but not enough is known to become anywhere close to fluent.

That's pretty cool that he made up a language that can pretty much be spoken well enough to converse. That's no easy thing to do.

Well he did have a few decades to do it, but it still quite an accomplishment. And with a mew written script to accompany it.

Well, we see how much it takes to learn a language. It's even more amazing to be able to create one that could be speakable. :D
