Geographics of Esrion [Read Before Creating a Topic]

Well, now that we've come up with a name, I suggest we further develop our world. Should we have multiple continents, or just one?

I think a few continents is a good idea, so we can have encapsulated stories on different ones. This way, we have more freedom with our ideas.

These are some names that were mentioned before:
Calenor
Arbonia

I think they could both be continents or countries. It would also depend on the time, as territories change throughout history.

We could also have various islands.

Maybe they could be separated by a mountain range, although I do prefer the idea of two continents.

I have one.

Macroth: Land of the Kythe along with Human Colonists, and an ancient treasure buried in the Central Mountain.

That's good. It could be the Kythe's native land, but at some point human colonists arrive, too.

Ok, cool. It looks very good so far. Is it an island or a section of a mainland? Personally, I like the idea of an island.

Island I would suggest, with heavy jungles and so on - The Isle of Macroth.

I suggest that we split Esrion up into two main continents - Talonis, the more civilized and larger with a traditional fantasy theme, and Khanthir, the smaller, more barbaric continent with the more wild, unusual races. The ocean that surrounds both Talonis and Khanthir is called the Ever Ocean.
I also thought up a country in Talonis called Calenor. It's a large kingdom ruled by a human paladin of Sahar. It's split up into four fiefdoms, called firths - Northfirth, Southfirth, Westfirth, and Eastfirth, guarded by an elite corps of humans called the Wardens.
Also some names for exotic locales:
The Wildlands
Ghostwind Woods
Luneth Desert
Kayerin
Spire Keep

For macroth :

Island connected to the mainland with a thin strip of land. Personally, I think the smallest part of the thin strip of land should be as thick as the deeping wall.

Macroth.JPG

Like this. ( Proportions might be a bit out of shape, as the strip of land looks ATM, as thick as the gap of rohan (Dunno why am I using LOTR geographical figures to measure these))

And for names of Exotic locales, don't forget Drakon River and Fort Drakon.

And Kornas for Khantir
